Spanish actress Blanca Suárez made a delightful appearance on Pablo Motos’ show, ‘El Hormiguero,’ alongside Enric Auquer to promote their upcoming film, ‘Me he hecho viral.’
Following David Bisbal’s entertaining visit, ‘El Hormiguero’ welcomed two Spanish actors on October 3rd. Blanca Suárez and Enric Auquer graced Pablo Motos’ show to introduce their upcoming movie, ‘Me he hecho viral,’ scheduled to hit theaters on September 11th. The guests engaged in a conversation with the host about the film directed by Jorge Coira and also took part in the show’s classic games with Trancas and Barrancas.
The renowned ants of television proposed a fun challenge to the guests: they had to share an interesting story and then confirm whether it was real or not. At one point, Trancas and Barrancas encouraged Suárez to recall an anecdote in which she had said something “inappropriate” to a famous person or had simply made a “fool” of herself. Initially, the Spanish actress couldn’t remember any such incident, but after a few seconds of contemplation, she recollected a memorable event involving Alejandro Sanz.
Blanca Suárez shared a surreal situation that occurred at the 2017 Ondas Awards when she received an award for her role in the Telecinco series, ‘Lo que escondían sus ojos.’ She began her story by saying, “I tend to make a fool of myself at times… I’m not exactly sure how many years ago this happened, but I was at the Ondas Awards in Seville. It was a somewhat confusing and sad personal moment. I was upset, and it was definitely not my best day.”
“I went on stage to accept my award and say thank you. I started crying, but not in a way that conveyed excitement. I was in a bad state, unable to speak, convulsing, with a runny nose. It was terrible,” continued the actress, who left the ceremony shortly after receiving the accolade. She recalled thinking, “Get out of here, you’re not going to recover from this. You won’t calm down, my friend. Go back home.” So, she grabbed her purse and left.
However, the worst part of the story had yet to unfold. “I tried to maintain my dignity as best as I could. I walked across the stage, and suddenly, I looked up and saw Alejandro Sanz,” Suárez revealed. “He was backstage because he was either about to receive an award or perform next. He looked at me, and I burst into tears, but at a legendary level,” admitted the guest on ‘El Hormiguero.’
“He said, ‘Come here.’ And that’s when I completely broke down. I found myself sobbing uncontrollably, with a runny nose, hugging Alejandro Sanz tightly. At that moment, I barely knew him,” the actress recounted. Thus, Suárez shared on ‘El Hormiguero’ the most memorable encounter of her life with a famous person.
